Some art is deeply meaningful and soulful.
And some art is just pure, unapologetic fun.
The Color Pop Series is the second kind — and honestly, it might be my most joyful collection yet.
How It Started
It began simply enough. I'd been drawing with a black liquid ink pen — a Pilot Precise V7 if you want to get specific — and I was loving the clean, bold lines it made. Flowers felt like the natural subject, because, well… if you know me at all, you know flowers are kind of my thing.
After drawing a few I kept feeling like something was missing. They needed more. More life. More energy. More something.
Then it hit me — they needed color. Not just a little color. A whole sea of it.
My first attempt had two poppies with stems surrounded by red. It wasn't quite right — the stems were throwing everything off. So I went back to the drawing board, thought it through, and realized the solution was to draw each flower from directly above. Fully surrounded by color. No stems, no distractions — just the flower and its pop.
The moment I finished the first one I knew I was onto something. I'm completely in love with how this series turned out.
What the Series Is
Each painting features a different flower surrounded by its own bold, beautiful color. A sunflower in sunshine yellow. A daisy in bright blue. A poppy in rich red. A lily in soft lavender.
They're designed to make you smile — simple as that.
Display one alone for a single pop of color on your wall, or bundle several together for a rainbow of flowers that fills an entire space with joy.
How to Bring One Home
The Color Pop Series is available as mini prints — a fun, accessible way to start or grow your collection. You can grab one, bundle three, bundle six, or go all in and get the whole collection.
(Full details and pricing coming very soon — check back in a week or two!)
A few originals from this series are also available — you can find those directly through the Color Pop Mini Prints page.
A Few Personal Favorites in the Series
I'll be honest — the anemone and the peony hold a special place in my heart. I had anemones in my wedding bouquet and peonies tattooed on my arm, so painting them felt extra personal. Sometimes the flowers that mean the most to you end up being the most fun to paint.

One Last Thing
