If this portrait will be a memorial, a gift, or a cherished focal piece in your home, I generally recommend 8x10 or larger so the details and expression truly shine. A smaller piece can still be beautiful — it just depends on where it will live and how it will be displayed. See image below for comparison.

You can choose a close-up portrait with a soft or minimal background, a full-body composition, or a meaningful setting or scene that reflects your pet's world.

We'll talk through what feels right for your pet and your vision during the commission process — there's no pressure to have it all figured out before you reach out.

Most portraits are completed within 4–8 weeks depending on current workload. I'll give you a more specific timeframe when we schedule your commission so you always know where things stand.

A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot and get started. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before your portrait ships.

Once we've confirmed your photo and project details, I'll send over an invoice with everything you need to get started.
