Texas Bloom
The bluebonnet is the official flower of the great state of Texas. Also known as the buffalo clover, wolf flower, and “el conejo” (rabbit in Spanish), the blue petals are said to resemble the bonnets worn by pioneer women to shield them from the sun.
You would think a bluebonnet would be the first flower in my South Texas Series!! But I guess it’s better late than never…so here it is!!
When I started this flower, I was amazed at how much purple is actually in a bluebonnet. This has now become one of my overall favorites!! The original was purchased before it was complete by one of my best customers.

The fine art print is on Archival Matte Paper with a 1” white border. Framed prints come in a 1 1/4” open grain walnut frame and white matting. The Canvas Print is a 1.5” cradle wrapped canvas print ready to hang.
